Saudi Arabia Ready to Welcome Asia for AFC Asian Cup 2027

Saudi Arabia is preparing to welcome football fans from across the continent as the Kingdom gears up to host the AFC Asian Cup 2027. With world class stadiums, vibrant culture, and a passion for sport, the tournament is set to showcase Saudi Arabia’s vision as a leading global destination for major sporting events.
Saudi Arabia has officially revealed the match schedule and group stage lineup for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™, marking another major milestone in the Kingdom’s growing role as a global sports destination.
Set against the iconic Salwa Palace in Diriyah’s historic At-Turaif District, the Final Draw ceremony showcased the six tournament groups and confirmed the full schedule for Asia’s biggest football competition. The 19th edition of the AFC Asian Cup will kick off on January 7, 2027, and continue until the grand finale on February 5, 2027.
During the event, the official slogan of the tournament, “Ahlan Asia,” was also unveiled. The phrase reflects Saudi Arabia’s warm invitation to fans, players, and visitors from across Asia and around the world to come together and celebrate football.

Eight Stadiums Across Three Cities
The AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ will feature 51 matches played across eight world class stadiums located in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar.
Riyadh will host five stadiums, while Jeddah will feature two venues and Al Khobar will host one stadium. The tournament promises an exciting atmosphere with modern facilities and passionate football fans expected throughout the competition.

Opening Matches and Key Fixtures
The tournament begins with the opening match between Saudi Arabia and Palestine on January 7.
On January 8, football action continues with three matches:
Kuwait vs Oman at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh
Bahrain vs DPR Korea at Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud University Stadium in Riyadh
Uzbekistan vs Jordan at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah
On January 9, Iran will face China PR at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, while Australia will meet Singapore at Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar.
The following day, Tajikistan and Iraq will clash at Al Shabab Stadium in Riyadh, while Japan takes on Indonesia on January 11 at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
Road to the Final
The Group Stage matches will conclude on January 20, followed by the Round of 16 from January 22 to January 25. The Quarter finals are scheduled for January 28 and 29, while the Semi finals will be played on February 1 and 2.
The tournament will conclude with the highly anticipated Final on February 5, 2027, at King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh, where the new champions of Asia will be crowned.
