Saudi Arabia has announced the official Umrah season timeline for 2026–2027, including visa issuance dates, Nusuk permit availability, entry deadlines, and final departure schedules for pilgrims. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially announced the Umrah season calendar for 1448 AH, confirming that the issuance of Umrah visas and the arrival of pilgrims will begin on May 31, 2026.
The newly released calendar outlines important dates related to visa processing, electronic services, contractual procedures, and the reception of Umrah pilgrims. The initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall pilgrimage experience.
According to the announcement, pilgrims will be able to enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits through the Nusuk application starting June 1, 2026.
The ministry also confirmed that the final date for issuing Umrah visas will be March 9, 2027. Meanwhile, the last date for pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia for Umrah has been scheduled for March 23, 2027.
In addition, April 7, 2027, has been designated as the final departure date for Umrah pilgrims from the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah urged Umrah service providers and overseas agents to strictly follow the approved schedule and comply with all official regulations and instructions. The ministry emphasized that adherence to these guidelines is essential to ensure smooth operations and deliver high quality services to pilgrims throughout the Umrah season.
