Discover the inspiring story behind Eid Al Adha and the miracle that shaped one of Islam’s most meaningful celebrations. Learn about the faith, sacrifice, and devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and how this timeless event continues to inspire millions around the world today.
Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) Big Test
Long ago, there lived a kind and faithful man named Prophet Ibrahim(AS). He loved Allah very much and always tried to do what was right. Prophet Ibrahim (AS) had a wonderful son named Prophet Ismail (AS), who was kind, brave, and obedient too.
One night, Prophet Ibrahim (AS) had a dream. In the dream, Allah asked him to sacrifice something very precious to show his faith and trust. Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was sad because he loved his son dearly, but he wanted to obey Allah.
The next morning, Prophet Ibrahim(AS) gently spoke to Prophet Ismail (AS).“My son,” he said kindly, “Allah has given me an important test.”

Little Prophet Ismail (AS) listened carefully and replied bravely, “Father, do what Allah asks. Allah will help us.”
They walked together for the test with trust in Allah. Just as Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was about to complete the sacrifice, Allah stopped him! Allah was pleased with Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS) because they showed strong faith, love, and obedience.
Instead of Prophet Ismail (AS), Allah sent a sheep to be sacrificed.
From that day on, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Adha every year. Families pray together, share food, help people in need, and remember the beautiful lesson of faith, kindness, sacrifice, and caring for others.

Eid Al Adha teaches us to:

Eid AL Adha Mubarak! 🌙✨
