In preparation for this year's Hajj season, the General Administration of Quran and Books Affairs at the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has made significant efforts to ensure that pilgrims at the Grand Mosque have access to the Holy Quran. A large number of Quran copies have been provided to accommodate the influx of worshippers.
Additionally, the authority has distributed booklets containing translations of the Quran's meanings in 35 languages, including English, Urdu, French, Indonesian, Turkish, Chinese, Somali, Malayalam, Bengali, Filipino, Spanish, Albanian, and Hausa. This initiative aims to make the sacred text accessible to a diverse international audience.
For the visually impaired, copies of the Quran in Braille, along with simplified interpretations, are available, ensuring that everyone can engage with the holy text.
The authority's comprehensive plan for this Hajj season includes not only providing the necessary copies of the Quran and its translations but also offering special programs related to the Quran. They are also distributing scientific books, brochures, and booklets to enrich the spiritual experience of the pilgrims.
Visitors to the Grand Mosque are reminded to respect the sanctity of the Holy Quran by returning copies to their designated places on the shelves, ensuring that these valuable resources are available for all.
